SvdP Mission Statement
Inspired by Gospel values, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, a Catholic lay organization, leads women and men to join together to grow spriritually by offering person-to-person service to the needy and suffering in the tradition of its founder, Blessed Frederic Ozanam, and patron, St. Vincent de Paul.
As a reflection of the whole family of St. Vincent de Paul, members who are known as Vincentians are drawn from every ethnic and cultural background, age group, and economic level. Vincentians are united in an international society of charity by their spirit of poverty, humility and sharing, which is nourished by prayer and reflection, mutually supportive gatherings and adherence to a basic Rule.
Organized locally, Vincentians witness God's love by embracing all works of charity and justice. The Society collaborates with other people of good will in relieving need and addressing its causes, making no distinction in those served because in them Vincentians see the face of Christ.
SVdP Sheboygan
SVdP Sheboygan is a Catholic lay organization, as well as charitable non-profit organization, that provides financial and spiritual support to people needing assistance in the local Sheboygan County community. Financial support or in-store vouchers may include assistance with rent, utility, clothing, food and furniture. SVdP Sheboygan also provides spiritual or mentoring support to those in need of help. Members of The Society of St. Vincent de Paul, called Vincentians, perform home visits to meet clients, gather information, and counsel individuals and families needing help. Regardless of age, race, sexual orientation or religion; Vincentians see the face of Christ in those they serve. Our focus is on quality, not quantity. Our faith is our inspiration and motivation. Our goal is all work of charity and justice. STAY SAFE. THANK YOU
I started working in Sheboygan about 2 years ago and started checking out this store on my lunch hour It is better than any At. Vinny I have ever been to. Staff is friendly and helpful. Prices are priced at a fair rate. And what other St. Vinny's do you know that has sales and clearance? It is the best. I love browsing here and I will never bring my donations anywhere else. I bring them from 40 miles north of Sheboygan because I believe they are honest and fair. Thanks for all you do.
Love shopping at your store! I always find something I need and plenty I probably don't but I always feel good about my purchases! Keep up the good work!
I have been raiding thrift stores since 1972. St. Vincent's has always been the most reasonably priced. The friendliest. One of the cleanest. And the best selection of them all. The current management has done the best job since they opened. Thanks for the deals.
